Forum Gallery presents Favorite Things, a holiday exhibition including a diverse selection of paintings, drawings, and sculpture by twenty-eight artists who inspire us in the way they capture the seasons, evoke our love for friends and family, make us smile or gaze in amazement, or transport us to a beautiful faraway vista.
Our contemporary selection includes dazzling paintings of singular vision by William Beckman, Michèle Fenniak, Paul Fenniak, Linden Frederick, Alan Magee, Alyssa Monks, Brian Rutenberg, Tula Telfair, and Stephanie Wilde. Also presented are unique works on paper from the remarkable talents of Robert Bauer, Frederick Brosen, Davis Cone, Rance Jones, Jane Lund, G. Daniel Massad, Anthony Mitri, Clio Newton, and Cybèle Young. And on view for the first time at Forum Gallery are whimsical paintings by Nathaniel Aric Galka that captivate our imagination while imparting a message of interconnectedness and optimism in fanciful fables told through the flora and fauna of our endangered natural world.
For those drawn to the art of the Twentieth Century, Favorite Things will offer paintings and drawings by the incomparable Claudio Bravo (1936-2011), Susan Hauptman (1947-2015), Mark Podwal (1945-2024), Charles Matton (1933-2008), and Ben Shahn (1898-1969), as well as sculpture in bronze and terracotta by Chaim Gross (1902-1991), William McElcheran (1927-1999), Elliot Offner (1931-2010), and Albert Wein (1915-1991).
Priced to accommodate you this holiday season, we hope you will visit us at 475 Park Avenue to browse our special selection of favorite things.
